Do you own a car? Are you willing to be trained to drive a minibus? If so WE NEED YOU!!! Beverley Community Lift is completely dependent on volunteers.
We promote independence within the Beverley and surrounding village community which means we transport the elderly, frail and disabled passengers to destinations such as doctors or hospital appointments, shopping trips, community groups, etc.
Without our help these people can often feel isolated and lonely.
You can volunteer on a regular or ‘as and when’ basis and be refunded your expenses.
Do You have time to help? Do You have a friendly manner and a sympathetic approach to the elderly and people with disabilities? Do You have a minimum of 2 years driving experience?
Do You own a roadworthy car with MOT and insurance?
