Thank you to the Defence School of Transport in Leconfield for helping us to raise much needed funds from their successful Army Vs England sporting event.

Jan Stainforth, CEO of Beverley Community Lift said: “We are very honoured and humbled to be supported by the Defence School of Transport’s fund raising event. It was well organised and a huge success. Monies raised will go towards replacing one of our minibuses which we use to help local elderly and disabled people get out and about. From one transport organisation to another, we cannot thank you enough. This will make a real difference to people’s lives.”

The event organiser, Warrant Officer Class 2, Stu Mann said: “The event was a total success, we were able to bring together two top teams with lots of experience while raising funds for these great organisations. I personally would like to thank local sponsors and donators, and to all the staff and trainees from the Defence School of Transport who kindly donated on the evening.”

We are most grateful to those who donated prizes including Julie Ball Designed Interiors, Bright Minds Therapies, Cabung Ltd, Holiday Inn Hull Marina, We Are Coaching, Not Just Travel Inspiring Journeys, and Burton Electricals.
