A big THANKS to our 10 fabulous volunteer runners who took part in the Hull 10k on Sunday 19th June, and helped us to raise over £1,000 in much-needed funds.

In an extra bid to raise awareness of the charity and its work, CEO Jan Stainforth and bid writer Marie Louise Robinson completed the race (in just under two hours!) by pushing a teddy bear mascot in a wheelchair.

Jan said: "We are delighted with all the support we received on the day, and especially grateful for the sponsorship monies we received.

"If anyone would like to choose our charity for their next fundraising effort, please give us a call on 01482 868082. It all helps us to get elderly and disabled people out and about, improve their health and wellbeing, and reduce feelings of loneliness."
