Thank you to everyone who took part, supported, and volunteered at our recent 24-hour Sing-a-thon, in conjunction with Leconfield Community Choir.  We raised an amazing £3,700 which will go to our replacement minibus fund.  Much of the money raised came from people buying tickets for our grand prize draw, below are the details of the lucky winners.

We are looking for an outgoing, proactive and enthusiastic, part-time marketing co-ordinator to support the delivery of the charity’s marketing strategy.  The role will suit someone who has previous experience of marketing and who is keen to work with a charity. A good telephone manner and ability to communicate at all levels is essential.

It’s not every day that we receive a gift worth more than £35,000, and the generosity shown by an East Yorkshire commercial vehicle business has given us the crucial boost we were very much longing for.

We have recently been very fortunate to receive funding from different parts of our local community. We were voted for by Tesco customers to receive £4,000 in the Tesco Bags for Help scheme, customers of Beverley Building Society have voted for us for two months running resulting in £500, and we have also received a grant of £5,000 from the Masonic Charitable Fund.

Local businesses Beverley Garden Centre and Oldroyd's Corner have weighed in to help local charity Beverley Community Lift raise much needed funds.
