Do you know someone with a bit of spare time on their hands? Perhaps a student over the summer holidays, someone newly retired or someone who needs experience for gaining employment.

Beverley Community Lift (BCL) is appealing for urgent help from the East Yorkshire community as it works on a strategy to overcome the impact of EU transport rules that are threatening its financial stability.

We provide a hands-on, supported service, and go above and beyond to support you on every journey, unlike commercial services. As well as assisting our passengers throughout each trip, our minibus fleet can also provide wheelchair transportation for those who need it. 

We're looking for brave volunteers to take part in a charity Tandem Skydive on Saturday 16th June, and help us raise some much-needed funds.

The ‘Forget-Me-Not’ group in Hull is an independent group for people aged over 55, which meets for a couple of hours twice a week. This 30-strong group is run by volunteers and its aim is to keep its members socially active in their community, and develop friendships and interests.
